How to use Photoshop Generative Fill

I recently did a corporate headshot shoot for some executives. There were men and women, and with women I often have them put a hand on their hip for improving posture. However, I cut off their elbows because headshots are generally tight crops (as opposed to portraits that are wider and often environmental in nature).

In this case, the client wants the elbow that I cut off, to be in frame, so here’s a video where I show you my process using Photoshop Generative Fill to generate an elbow where there was none. Yay for AI!

In this quick 3-minute tutorial, I demonstrate how to use Photoshop’s Generative Fill tool to seamlessly fill in a missing elbow. This powerful AI feature allows you to add or repair parts of your image with ease, making photo editing more efficient than ever. Watch the transformation and see how Generative Fill can enhance your workflow for clean, polished results. Perfect for photographers, designers, and anyone looking to master Photoshop’s latest tools.
