Hi, I’m Suzanne!

KIND words from CLIENTS

  • The trip with Suzanne was excellent. Myself and two teenage sons went on a private photo ‘cycle’ tour for 4 hours. We are not expert photographers by any stretch so Suzanne tailored the tour to meet our needs. We took some great photos and learned so much about photography. However, by far the most notable part of our experience was the abundance of enthusiasm and energy prior to and during our visit. Thank you Suzanne!

  • What a unique way to see the sites and capture great photos with Suzanne's tips, tricks and helpful advice! I learned fantastic ideas with my smartphone an you can too!!! Thank you again😀📷

    Stella - July 2016 - Calgary

  • We had only 1 night in Vancouver after our Alaskan Holiday and wanted to make the most of it.....we certainly did. We had booked a private photo walk with Suzanne and was so happy we did. We were met at the scheduled time by Suzanne, she is a true professional who is warm and engaging. I had my DSLR and my husband had a point n shoot. We learnt so much about our cameras along with valuable easy to understand techniques on how to take better photos. It was a real pleasure to meet you Suzanne and would highly recommend your tour for Photography lovers of all skill level. Vancouver is a beautiful City.

    DJ saor - June 2016 - Brisbane

  • Suzanne was so welcoming and helped a novice like myself feel comfortable using a camera. I learned a lot about photography in our short time together and can't wait to take more photos. Dress warmer than you think you should. It gets cold when you're not moving. Overall a great experience that allowed me to see my city in a new light. Thanks Suzanne!

    Manuela - Jan 2016 - Vancouver

  • "An amazing experience that combined photography with sight seeing and a bit of history of Vancouver. Suzanne our guide is an excellent teacher, she shared her tips and tricks on night photography. Also she was kind enough to loan a tripod since I did not bring one on this trip. I learnt more about night photography in that 2 hours than reading all the manuals. Will definitely sign up for your photowalk on my next visit to Vancouver. Thank you Suzanne for a wonderful evening."

    G. Kumar - VI, Canada

  • "I have been on a few photowalks with Suzanne over the past couple of years, and they have all been fantastic! Most recently I booked a Gastown night photography tour. I had a lot of fun, and also learned a lot about night photography and long exposure! Suzanne is very knowledgeable and personalized her approach based on my skill level. She has given me excellent tips which have really helped me to improve my photography. I highly recommend taking a photowalk, whether you live in Vancouver or are visiting the city!"

got QUESTIONS?

Maybe these Qs and As will clear things up.

  • We decide together. Depending on what you want to learn, where you'd like to go and what your time is like, we decide from there.

In Vancouver, popular locations are Granville Island, Stanley Park, Chinatown, Queen Elizabeth Park, Gastown and Coal Harbour but we are not limited to those choices.

  • I can! I have extensive experience as a headshot, portrait, event, branding and real estate photographer so I can be helpful in any of those arenas.

If you are growing your business I also love talking about that too. I have written blog posts about starting photography businesses, and have a small mini course in the works now.

  • Each class is catered to you. If you don't know what you're working on, I'll run some experiments to test your skills and see what most excites you.

    Then we'll do that!

  • I accept cancellations with 100% refund up to 48 hours prior to the class.

    Under 48 hours I will refund 50%

I guarantee you a full refund if you don't learn anything or have fun.

  • Yes!

I am happy to teach things over zoom! I have a pro account so we can record sessions and get a useful transcript for your records.

Obviously editing and post are easier to do over zoom but camera and composition questions are possible to answer as well.
