Join me for an afternoon hike up Sulphur Mountain in Banff National Park!
The pace is “leisurely athletic” and I’d rate it a 5/10. We aren’t winning any awards, we are photographers after all, but we’re not the slowest of the bunch either.
You are guaranteed to get a bunch of photos of you since I love taking pictures of people. Sorry, no drones allowed in the National Park.
We meet at 4pm at the base, I can pick up and drop off from a location in Banff at 3:30 or there is a free shuttle from Banff. The hike is rated hard and and round trip is estimated to take around 4.5h. The good news is that we’re only going one way!
It is cooler at the top, dress accordingly. The cost of the gondola down is $30, you are welcome to hike down again, but my plan is to stay and watch sunset from the peak. I’m sure I’ll be the only one up there.
